Clare reached out to me about having a photo sessionĀ of she and her husband, Martin, in a “European” style, which immediately had me like YASSSSSS!! These two dressed to the nines in their beautiful wedding attire and treated this session like an extension of their wedding day, only without the time constraints! The amount of […]

Martin + Clare | A European Styled Portrait Session

Summer and her sweet momma came all the way down from Jefferson for Summer’s senior session at the Goat Farm this past Monday. Summer is a girl after my own heart with all her vintage inspired outfits and she was absolutely the perfect person for a Goat Farm session! We even saw the goats at the end of the evening, which was super fun! This sweet girl brought her A game and we definitely had a TON of fun!

Ethan and Kourtney have the absolute sweetest love story and I adored getting to hear all about how they met, fell in love, and eventually got married. Ethan’s road to joining the Navy is equally as inspiring with a decision to serve his country followed by a long road of getting in shape for boot camp! I was so impressed with these two, their adoration for each other…

This sweet senior, Lucy, her sister and their momma were absolutely fantastic at The Goat Farm on Friday. And let’s not forget about that absolutely adorable pug, Daisy. I love capturing this phase of life as…

…now they’re married and have their own sweet little girl! They’ve been all over the place, including living in Hawaii for awhile and now only 2 hours away in Georgia! I loved getting to catch back up with them and of course meeting their sweet little girl, A. It makes my heart so happy to…

…but then they started talking about what they had in mind for their session, including Kathye’s Granny’s vintage wedding dress, Taylor’s prom dress, some Lily Pulitzer (of course), and a seriously adorable casual outfit… I was in photographer heaven. Plus, they took utilized the senior program and…

Hannah is such, such, such a beautiful bride. All of my brides are beautiful, seriously, but Hannah has a quiet, classic kind of beauty that took me off guard the first time I met her. If you know me well, you know that I love old hollywood and the whole ‘Rat Pack’ era. I’m constantly

Shara and I met in 2008 at Color Guard camp at Liberty University. She stole my heart with her laid back demeanor, common love of the Jonas Brothers and her appreciation for delicious coffee. She keeps me humble while simultaneously making me feel like I could take on the world, which is quite the special talent! I could tell you stories for days about our many years of friendship, from beach trips and bachelorette parties to funerals and miscarriage – we’ve been through a lot and she’s always been by my side.

I was sitting in church at Passion City when Nathaniel came down the row and claimed the seat next to me that had been reserved by a small leather journal and a Bible. I wasn’t paying much attention, probably texting on my phone or answering emails, waiting for church to start. Then Nate started looking around like he had misplaced something, I asked him if he had lost something and he stated he couldn’t find his pen. I offered him one of mine from my endless bag of stationery supplies (really, it’s a problem) and we started chatting.
