"All our dreams can come true,
if we have the courage to pursue them"
Most days you can find me in my fave pair of comfy jeans, hanging out in my home office with a cup of coffee in hand and some Frank Sinatra (or Spice Girls... I like to keep it eclectic up in here 😂) playing in the background.
I am married to the most selfless man on the planet and together we have two beautiful, albeit crazy, kiddos. We are adventurers at heart and dream about the day we can move into our farm house in the country in total Chip + Joanna Gaines style.
I love Walt Disney World and am a hopeless romantic at heart. I value simple living, the perfect red lipstick, not taking life too seriously, the art of light hearted sarcasm, and making the best of any situation.
The mountains at sunset, the birds chirping in the morning, the crickets at night and catching fireflies at dusk are a few of our favorite things.
Our family heritages run deep in the blue ridge mountains where blue grass, sweet tea and grandma's chocolate cake are right up there with Sunday morning church, always having a 'hankie' on hand and saying 'yes ma'am and no ma'am' regardless of age.
These two have an uncanny way of creating an unnerving sense of pride one minute and then absolute crawl-under-the-table embarrassment the next. While I've never drank more coffee (or wine) in my life, I consider myself blessed far beyond measure with these two crazy kiddos, and their Daddy who I get to share these special days with.
Showing kindness in a world that hurts is important to our family. While we don't always succeed, we wish to be a ray of hope to the hurting however we can. Sometimes that means sharing a kind word or volunteering, sometimes that means making cookies for our neighbors, or gifting our talents wherever we can.
Luke and I have been immeasurably blessed in our lives and desire nothing more than to give those gifts back where we are able, while teaching our children the importance of kindness and hard work.
